Nikon Z 6 II with FTZ Adapter, Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 lens & Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 lens
The Nikon Z 6 II is a mini powerhouse that boasts many advantages over its predecessor, such as a new dual processor, improved autofocus – including eye and face detect, as well as dual memory card slots that record to both cards simultaneously. The Z 6 II not only gives you access to Nikon’s superb new range of Nikon Z glass, but in addition, by using the FTZ adapter you can also make the most of Nikon’s prestigious full-frame F series of lenses. Whilst powerful, the Nikon Z 6 II is small and unobtrusive, meaning that all eyes will be on the happy couple, rather than you!
The Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S NIKKOR is the perfect companion for the Z 6II as it is small, light and discreet, and the wide 24mm focal length makes it ideal for group shots when there’s a lot to get in the frame. A maximum aperture of f4 throughout the zoom range doesn’t quite match the performance of the f/2.8 equivalent, but it’s still nothing to be sniffed at and if you need to boost the exposure further, the Z 6II is excellent in low light – offering ISO up to 51200 ISO.
70-200mm is a wonderful focal length for shooting weddings, it’s long enough to capture intimate, candid shots from a distance without disturbing your subjects, and opens up to 70mm which is a classic choice for portraits and couple shots. The constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout is not only a true asset in low light, but it produces those dreamy blurred out backgrounds to isolate subjects within the frame and create a timeless, cinematic feel.
This lens is also great in low light – not only because of the large aperture, but because it has vibration reduction (VR), which will freeze static subjects in low light when a longer shutter speed Is required.
