The Three-Dimensional Colour control delivers rich colours across the gamut, while high-precision Multi-process Noise Reduction ensures your image deliver even at the higher ISOs.

5-axis dual I.S. 2: clarity and sharpness through a greater range of shutter speeds.

Be confident in capturing incredibly sharp handheld photos without worrying about shake: the 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 {Image Stabilizer) brings intelligent compensation to your aid. This provides up to 6-stops of benefit, meaning you can use up to 6-stops slower shutter speed right up to the tele-end. The LUMIX S1 can virtually eliminate shake in both body and lens, across both stills and video recording, including 4K. The astonishing power of the 5-axis Body I.S. can correct shake for all lenses, up to 5.5 stops, even those not equipped with 0.1.S.

Panasonic's combination of new sensor technology and Venus engine provide the power to deliver spectacular 4K 60p utilising the whole of the full-frame sensor*. Thanks to the combination of these advanced technologies the S1 is able to deliver smooth and natural looking footage even with rapidly moving scenes.

The LUMIX S1 has been designed to facilitate outstanding heat dissipation, allowing it shoot both 4K 30p/24p and Full-HO recording with no time limit.** The ability to record for extended shoots makes this an ideal choice for a wide range of professional usages, such as no-cut documentaries, fixed-point shooting of wild animals and more.

4:2:2 10-bit internal recording (optional)

The LUMIX S 1 offers 4K 24/30p 4:2:2 10-bit internal video recording and 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI live output) to address the needs of the Professional video user.

10-bit is capable of recording over 1 billion colours, approximately 128 times the data volume of 4:2:0 8-bit. This massive volume of colour data is highly valuable in post-production, making it possible to optimise colours within the grade and even turn daylight into nightime in some scenes. Boasting an ultra-high resolution of 5,760k dots, the Real View Finder is of the highest resolution in its class. With a minimum distortion lens for edge to edge clarity and a high magnification of 0.78x, the Real View Finder supports both perfect framing and high precision focusing.
