Sony has announced the launch of the FE 85mm F1.4 GM II, the latest addition to its premium G Master™ lineup. This second-generation lens is a powerful evolution of its predecessor, combining high resolution with stunning bokeh and fast autofocus in a more compact and lightweight design.

Building on the success of the original FE 85mm F1.4, which debuted in 2016 as part of Sony’s first G Master™ lineup, the new GM II model integrates the latest optical technologies to deliver exceptional performance. It features two XA (extreme aspherical) and two ED (extra-low dispersion) elements, ensuring corner-to-corner sharpness and vivid image quality while effectively suppressing aberrations. With Sony’s Nano AR Coating II, users can also expect reduced flare and ghosting for clearer, crisper shots.
