GoPro has announced two exciting new cameras: the flagship HERO13 Black and the ultra-compact HERO. Both models boast unique features that build on GoPro's innovative technology, catering to both professionals and casual users alike.
This year’s cameras are designed with the GoPro community in mind. The HERO13 Black comes equipped with four new interchangeable lens mods, magnetic latch mounting, GPS, and a longer-lasting battery for improved performance. The HERO, our smallest and lightest 4K camera, features an intuitive screen and rugged design for users seeking simplicity and high-quality footage.
The HERO13 Black combines cutting-edge technology with endless creative potential. In addition to its 5.3K video at 60 frames per second and award-winning HyperSmooth stabilization, the HERO13 Black introduces several game-changing features:
HERO13 Black users can enhance their photography and videography with the new HERO Black (HB) Series Lenses. These four lenses are designed to maximize HyperSmooth stabilization, providing optimal settings based on the lens type and shooting conditions:
All mods, except for the Anamorphic Lens Mod, will be available at launch. The Anamorphic Lens Mod will be released in 2025.
HERO13 Black offers longer recording times, with a 10% larger Enduro battery delivering up to 1.5 hours of continuous 4K30 recording or 2.5 hours at 1080p30. For extended power, GoPro has introduced the Contacto Magnetic Door and Power Cable Kit, providing a weatherproof connection to external power sources.
